Jurere to Porto Belo

The weather forecast this morning mentioned the possibility of heavy rain storms with winds gusting to force 7 from mid afternoon.
Not ideal but the winds are from the south and we only have a short run up the coast of 25 miles.
We dropped our mooring off Jurere at 09:15 in calm conditions and proceeded north under engine only. Progress was good and we passed the rocks at Calhau de Sao Pedro at 11:45. At 12:05 the wind had strengthened to SE Force 3-4 and the yankee was deployed and the engine turned off a bit later at 12:30.
At 13:45 we rounded Punta Porto Belo in very heavy rain and SE winds of around 22 knots.
In the distance we could see a large cruise ship anchored off Porto Belo.
Huge house atop a point approaching Porto Belo.
"Costa Victoria" anchored off Porto Belo and showing a great deal more respect for a rocky coast than her sister ship some weeks ago off Italy.
We did not proceed all the way down to Porto Belo, anchoring instead at 14:30 in the lovely almost totally protected bay of Caixa D'Aco some 5 km northish from Porto Belo.
A lovely tranquil place with only four other yachts and some small fishing boats. I was told that things would change somewhat tomorrow.
Route 25.19 miles. Passage time 5 hrs 15 minutes.
